We have a busy week ahead. Please read carefully as there are many details regarding our first two meets.
Monday: Practice as usual. 3:30-5pm
Tuesday: Our first meet!
- Where: Grand Haven. Their pool is located at the high school. 17001 Ferris Street Grand Haven, MI 49417
- Snacks: It is important to fuel up before a meet so please send a substantial snack along with your daughter to eat for a pre-meet snack. Water is also a good idea.
- Start Time: 4pm The meet should last approximately 1-1.5 hours.
- Transportation: We will travel to the meet as a team. The bus will pick up HCMS & Pine Ridge students at the Middle School and leave there at 3:00 pm. The bus will then stop at Chemical Bank on River Ave. around 3:05pm to pick up our ZCS and Rose Park crew. The girls will be dismissed early so they are ready to leave at 3pm and so they can be brought to the RP/ZCS pick up location by 3:05. There is NO bus back from Grand Haven. Please plan accordingly and have carpools set up if a parent does not plan to attend. Please let us know who your daughter will be riding home with if other than a parent with a written note or email to Lisa (swimmers) or Maddie (Divers). If transportation back is an issue please let us know. We may be able to get a school van to transport a few girls back if we need.
- Suits/Caps: Our team suits and caps have not come in yet. Your daughter should wear a nice practice suit and cap.
- What to Bring: Suit, Cap, Goggles. A shirt/sweatshirt, pants/shorts, shoes/flip-flops/crocs to wear on deck are always a good idea as well. It can be chilly on deck.
Wednesday: Normal practice 3:30-5pm
Thursday: Home Meet v West Ottawa. We are still in need of a few more timers. Please consider signing up to time via the sidebar link.
- Where: Holland Aquatic Center
- Start Time: 4pm Athletes will be brought to the pool like on a practice day. Warm Up will start at 3:20. We realize our Rose Park kids may be a bit later than this. That is OK! They will join the team when they arrive.
- Suits/Caps: If we do not have our team suits/caps please have your daughter wear her best practice suit and cap.
